After two very successful years of cooperation, MAN Rollo has renewed its service partnership with MCCR. MCCR from Newry, Ireland, has been working on MAN engines for decades and has been an official service partner since 2019. The new contract has strengthened the cooperation for the coming years.
Scott Briance, Account Manager at MAN Rollo UK, is pleased with the renewed partnership. He explains: “MCCR is a great family business with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Founder Jeremy Murray and his team have a solid reputation. They serve a wide range of MAN customers, particularly in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. In addition to performing maintenance at a very high level, they also have a strong background in biogas and syngas engines, i.e. engines that run on gas that is extracted from wood. Their engineering excellence translates into very high customer satisfaction scores. MCCR has really earned this new contract based on that customer satisfaction and the large number of MAN engines they service successfully.”
Support from MAN Rollo
MCCR was founded in 1998 as a maintenance and breakdown assistance company for cars and trucks. In addition, the company has a generator and CHP division that repairs generators and industrial engines throughout Ireland and the UK. As an official service partner, MCCR is certified on behalf of MAN to work on MAN engines and receives support from MAN Rollo. MCCR employs several factory-trained technicians, and that number will continue to grow in the near future.
Long cherished ambition
Founder Jerremy Murray has been working on MAN engines for over 30 years. His company became a service partner for MAN Rollo two years ago, which for Murray was the realization of a long-cherished ambition. Therefore, he is very proud of the renewed contract. Jerremy Murray: “A service partnership opens many doors, both for customers and within MAN. That we as a small company have access to one of the largest companies in this industry is fantastic. Together with my team, I look forward to further developing our cooperation and raising our service level even further.”
