MAN Rollo strengthens its local presence as exclusive importer of MAN engines
ZOETERMEER, 10 February 2016 – MAN Rollo, supplier of diesel and gas engines for the industrial and marine sector, has renewed the cooperation contract with the German firm MAN. The cooperation between MAN and MAN Rollo dates back to the twenties of the last century. The most recent contract dates from 1991 and was due for renewal.
Director Martin Marijnissen of MAN Rollo is proud of the fruitful cooperation which has lasted for almost a hundred years. „We are very pleased that the contract between MAN and MAN Rollo was recently renewed,“ he says. „As a result, we are now the exclusive importer and distributor of their engines in nine European countries. This means that we are the only party in these countries that is authorised to sell and provide support for MAN engines.”
To ensure the most effective cooperation possible, MAN Rollo strengthens its local presence in the countries where MAN Rollo sells and supports the MAN products. In this regard, we have already achieved a lot in recent months. In January, for instance, we opened the first local office in the United Kingdom. MAN Rollo already had a Service Partner Network in France, and we are also setting this up in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. „With this contract and our new local approach, we are once more focusing entirely on the future,“ said Martin Marijnissen. „We will do everything possible to ensure a successful cooperation in the coming years.“
The signing of the contract was celebrated on 10 February during a visit to the office of MAN Rollo by Reiner Roessner, Head of Sales MAN Engines and Hubert Gossner, Head of Power.
